ST Engineering iDirect is a leading ground systems provider to the commercial and military satellite industries, offering platforms connecting a variety of satellite constellations with an array of segment targets and use-cases, including passenger and business aircraft, cruise and shipping maritime vessels, and military and government assets.

This SAP Business Analyst position is a unique opportunity to develop business solutions on the SAP platform in the Satellite Communications industry while working with a multicultural/international team. SAP is the one of core enterprise applications at ST Engineering iDirect, and the SAP Business Analyst would be responsible for developing and supporting standard and custom solutions across the enterprise
  • Partners with IT Business Apps Director on all projects to ensure alignment of project timelines, other initiatives, etc.
  • Remains current on SAP releases, features, best practices, applications, technologies, and certifications.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs any user issues that may arise in the SAP environment
  • Model, implement and orchestrate business processes to realize strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with other team members to design and deploy effective IT solutions
  • Participating in strategic business initiatives to deliver new SAP system functionality
  • The SAP Business Analyst contributes to the enhancement projects, implementations, and upgrades by assisting requirement gathering for complex business procedures.
  • 4+ years functional SAP experience, including hands on SAP configuration
  • Familiar with ECC 6.0 (EHP8 SPS4)
  • Experience with S4/HANA is not a requirement; however, it is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in the integration points between SAP SD, WM, MM, and FI
  • Experience with requirements gathering solution design, development, and deployment
  • Experience supporting Order-To-Cash processes including, order creation through interfacing systems, IDOC monitoring and error analysis.
  • Knowledge in SAP table structures, queries, table directories, etc. is required
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Logistics Execution functionality including inbound and outbound processes and internal warehouse processes
  • Business knowledge & experience of production planning/scheduling, procurement, inventory management
  • Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, etc.) experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen and business process knowledge.
  • Ability to understand and explain system integration, and multi-platform architecture
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
