Our Villages are constantly evolving – it could be a store move, a new grand opening, a village installation or a pop-up that we’re planning with our retail partners. We want to make sure our retail spaces truly reflect their brand and product while ensuring our Guests have an exceptional experience.

As a Retail and Architecture Coordinator, you’ll be working in partnership with the brands and our internal teams and be responsible for the overall coordination of the projects that the Retail Development team is working on from new openings, store refurbishments, to any other major remedial or planned works that change the look and feel of the stores and our village. You’ll be at the forefront of our communication and relationship with our brand retail partners, negotiating with any contractors or suppliers to ensure a pretty quick turnaround and a smooth process from start to finish.

You will be a strong bridge builder between the Retail Development team and the different internal teams in Maasmechelen Village, brands and external suppliers. Besides general administration you will also be able to run your own projects and develop sketches or simulations for internal case studies.

• Qualified in Interior Architecture or equal by relevant experience.
• Experienced as a coordinator in a retail, architect or project management environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, any other languages skills like French or German would be highly advantageous.
• An exceptional communicator, with everyone from your colleagues, brand stakeholders, all the way up to board level
• Experienced at using Autocad, Photoshop and Sketchup
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Experienced in or have a strong affinity with sustainability
• A self-starter, as well as disciplined, organised and deadline-driven
• Innovative and obsessive about the detail
• Passionate about luxury retail, interior design and up to date with current trends
• An exceptional eye for detail and an ‘even better if’ mentality
• Approachable and Team player.
