About the job:

Based in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the NATO Integrated Mobile Service Centre, which provides NATO and its partners with scalable, protected, secure, reliable, and integrated Wireless Communication-based Services with a focus on NATO Operations, Crisis Response, Missions, Exercises and Business Continuity. The NIMSC Chief is responsible for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities for centre’s following services: strategy, design, transition, operation and continuous service improvement including subject matter expertise, research and development, acquisition and logistic support.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior IT Change and Configuration Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Establish and improve the IT Change and Configuration Management processes, procedures, artefacts and tools in accordance to Service Line, Agency and NATO standards;
  • Establish and improve the NIMSC IT Configuration Baselines in accordance to Service Line, Agency and NATO standards;
  • Establish and improve the Configuration and Change Management Plan and its related artefacts;
  • Establish and improve the NIMSC Configuration Items in the Agency Configuration Management Database (CMDB);

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience. Exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.
  • 3years’ experience as IT Change, Configuration Manager and/or Service Manager in medium to large size organizations, managing critical infrastructure IT Product and Service Baselines for complex IT Products and IT Services with > 10.000 Configuration Items (e.g. large Data Centre, IT Infrastructure, car/ train/ plane industry);
  • Service Management Certification – ITILor ISO 20,000
  • Working experience of BMC Remedy, ServiceNow or other ITSM platform
  • Experience in working with IT Change, Configuration and Service Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
  • Working level knowledge in IT Configuration Management CMDB design and implementation;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
