We’re currently looking for a Servicedesk Engineer to strengthen the 1st line team at one of our clients.

Your daily tasks will be:
  • Be the SPOC for every internal client regarding any IT issue.
  • Take, create and follow up telephone and tickets (jira).
  • Submit procurement requests (requesting hardware and licensed software)
  • Account and rights issues (AD, SAP, Windows, Office 365, etc.)
  • All kinds of software troubleshooting
    • Office (Outlook, Excel, Onenote)
    • SAP & Windows
    • Citrix applications
    • Licensed packages (Autocad, ...)
    • Company specific software (in-house applications, licensed software, ...)
  • All kinds of computer and peripheral hardware troubleshooting
    • Such as office PCs, production PCs, terminals, printers, telephony, smartphones/tablets etc.
    • Hardware repairs where most cost-effective (replacement of drives, screens, keyboards, adapters)
    • Interventions for devices under warranty with the vendor (such as laptops, printers)
    • Preparation of hardware, deployment of software, installations
    • Keeping devices, security, software, settings, AD up to date
    • Follow up pool laptops administratively, material delivery administratively, stock management, asset management
  • Correct escalation to 2nd line support and 3rd line support and other teams where necessary.
  • Informing and assisting (new) users
  • Promoting order and tidiness in the workplace
  • Updating the knowledge base documentation (confluence)
  • SOX compliance in all activities, promote SOX compliance of users in their activities

Profile
  • You have a first experience in an IT support environment and have a broad IT interest
  • You are calm in every situation and are stress resistant
  • You are an excellent communicator in Dutch / English with basic knowledge of French
