Job DescriptionJob summary
- Overall responsibility for Team success by agreeing, implementing and monitoring individual and Team objectives and targets whilst ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Monitor Team performance and activity
- Serve clients, identify their needs and provide feedback on the success of filling jobs
- Building and maintaining relationships (internal/external)
- Write weekly/monthly figures and reports
- Hold weekly/monthly meetings; discuss task delegation and review issues
- In conjunction with Manager set quarterly targets and objectives
- Communication- encourage respect and open communication
- Assist in the interview and recruitment of team members
- Perform auditing and quality checking
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Handling escalations from customers and internally
- Attendance checking
- Training new team members
Requirements
- Graduate of any discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in Supervisory role in customer service related matter within the freight forwarding industry.
- General knowledge of various local and International shipping and freight forwarding practices is an advantage.
- Combined excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to analyze situations and to make good decisions based on available information.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
- Must have confident personality as well as an exceptional work.
