WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

As our Lead IT Admin, you will develop and follow up on the IT policies and procedures, maintaining computer systems, such as troubleshooting problems and configuring hardware and software systems. You will also take care of network security. In addition, you are responsible for the use of the backup and retrieval systems. As our Lead IT admin you will participate in answering questions from internal and external parties and thus act as the first point of contact in case of IT issues.

You will focus on mid to long term planning and coordination ensuring IT services can be provided to your key stakeholders.

You are responsible for the day-to-day operations, coaching and guiding of the IT Admin team members. Communication, quality and documentation are central and promoted throughout the team under your close supervision within an autonomous framework. You stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends that can improve our AVIOBOOK infrastructure, share your knowledge and train others. Suggestions are made to the Chief Operations Officer, to whom you will report.

The Lead IT Admin will continue to work with the Operations and Security team to ensure compliance with the GDPR legislation and ISO27001 certification.

In addition you interact with other teams in the company to help grow the business and keep the customers happy!

... a passion for software infrastructures and ability to meet changing deadlines, anticipate issues and engineer infrastructure solutions that meet end-user requirements

... strong teamwork skills, you’re empathetic and able to see the big picture while valuing opinions and input from customers and other team members

... strong communicator capable of clearly conveying ideas as well as listening and assimilating information from other sources

... experience with UNIX based operating systems

... experience with planning and coordination

... experience with managing a technical IT infrastructure

... excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

... bachelor in IT or equivalent through experience
