For our site in Izegem, we are looking for a logistics manager. In this position, you are the key figure of our branch and ensure that it runs smoothly and grows in all its aspects.


Your responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for managing the organisation of the platform block 1 and 2
  • You think about site productivity and follow up on activities
  • You ensure that everyone has the necessary resources and space in good time to do their job well
  • You act as a point of contact, listen to people, provide guidance within your team and are able to create a motivating environment
  • You are able to continuously harmonise our employees and processes from day-to-day practice and see that these are complied with
  • You are able to work out improvement proposals, to implement optimisation processes and you are able to supervise these changing processes effectively

Competences

  • You have had a logistics education or are equivalent through experience
  • You preferably have experience in a similar position and have a good knowledge of the logistics sector
  • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and you can express yourself fluently in French
  • You can handle and get energy from a lot of freedom of movement within your job
  • You are hands-on and have strong people management skills
  • You have a commercial mindset and function well in a dynamic environment
  • You have strong communication skills
