  • Management and coordination of specific key account and department (Liquid Bulk commodity)
  • Managing / implementing new customer
    • Liquid bulk FTL / barging / ISO tank movements / land tank storage / Ocean-Air
  • Sales, customer care and procurement activity
  • Operational involvement
  • P&L responsibility
The Role
  • Contract Review / Sales / Spot quotes / RFQ and tender management directly with the customer
  • Development of European and eventually global customer processes/ solutions
  • Rate negotiations and selection of subcontractors
  • Provide and follow up on sales leads within the network.
  • Assessment and quality control on individual file level in relation to the mutually agreed upon KPI for the specific account.
  • Coordination and motivation of the operational staff
  • Trouble shooting / problem solving / claim management.
  • Profit and loss responsibility
  • Leadership
    • To meet the customer’s requirements
    • To determine priorities
    • To achieve the growth of the account / business
  • HR planning and pre-selection in conjunction with the Regional project and heavy lift director, Europe
Job RequirementsRequirements:
  • +7 years of comprehensive experience in logistics and forwarding operations / regulations and documentation.
  • A professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and other market leading software applications. Deeper knowledge on electronic support tools for the logistic operation.
  • Analytical capabilities to develop logistic solutions.
  • Firm knowledge of at least 2 foreign “business”-languages.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.

  • Decision making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Excise principles is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.

  • Office management / e.g. vacation planning
  • Commercial support for accounts receivable
