This role will be part of Cloud automation team which is responsible for automated provisioning and compliance of public cloud services. The Cloud automation team ensures public cloud services are provisioned in a timely manner to Business partners. The Cloud automation team also ensures the various public cloud services remain compliant to the highest of security standards. Major Duties/Responsibilities Implement solutions for automated provisioning and compliance of various Azure services using cloud native capabilites and micro-services based development. Partner with cross-functional teams in development of various hybrid cloud capabilities. Perform design reviews and code reviews for work delivered by developers. Perform reviews of technical documentation that supports various automation capabilities. Create design documents that facilitate acccelration of adoption of various cloud services among application teams. Other Duties & Responsibilities Lead Engineer Public Cloud Engineer must have a strong understanding of Azure and/or AWS cloud services. Deep understanding of how various cloud services inter operate is required. Lead Engineer Public Cloud Engineer must have hands-on experience in designing and delivering various cloud native solutions including customer facing N-tier web applications and micro-services. You will be part of the Cloud automation team that focuses on automation of cloud services provisioning and compliance. Hence a strong background in software engineering with Agile development methodology, Continuos Integration/Continuos Delivery (CI/CD) and micro-services based development is required. Terraform and python skills are preferred. Qualifications Bachelors or Equivalent 5 years of related work experience in large enterprises preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong grasp of Azure PaaS services Strong background in software engineering Hand-on experience in building solutions using various Azure services Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages preferably Python Strong knowledge in Terraform is preferred Knowledge in CHEF and Ansible is preferred Strong understanding of agile development processes Understanding of micro-services and REST APIs based application development Understanding of GIT-based source code management, Continuos Integration and Conitnuos Delivery (CI/CD) practices Experience in developing Azure Policy Must be able to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to management effectively Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills With little supervision, must be able to define, shape, and drive projects to completion while effectively collaborating strategically with others Must be able to lead and influence others Must be able to mentor, instruct, and review technical deliverables of junior staff and peer engineeers Strong verbal and writing skills Must be results driven, a quick learner, and a self-starter Must have developer/associate/expert certification in Azure Primary Location Belgium-Antwerp-Beerse- Other Locations Europe/Middle East/Africa Organization Janssen Pharmaceutica N.V.
