Material & Process Engineer (Technologue)

The Material & Process engineer is responsible for developing, modifying, testing and evaluating materials and manufacturing processes

Tasks
  • Providing technical advice about the suitability of materials
  • Diagnosing faults
  • Advising on, planning and organising inspections, maintenance and repairs
  • Define and organize test and qualification plans,
  • Overseeing operational quality control processes
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers and manufacturing/development staff
  • Supervising technical applications on the floor
  • Participate to R&D projects,
  • Undertaking relevant research when necessary
PROFILE :
  • The candidate shall have a Master degree in mechanics / Electro-mechanics / Electronics,
  • A first background in industry (Manufacturing / Assembling) is a plus,
  • Team player,
  • Curious, creative, problem solver,
  • Logical and reasoning when troubleshooting issues,
  • The candidate shall show good communication skills. Fluency in Dutch or French and English are mandatory.
  • Structured, rigorous, quick-thinking and responsive are other key strengths.
