Network Project EngineerContract length: 12 Months + ExtensionLocation: Belgium, AntwerpDay rate: Negotiable depending on experienceStart date: ASAPThe person will be part of the IT ops EMEA project team and will help deliver the projects together.You ensure operational readiness by documenting and reviewing known issues and processes. You also ensure that support teams have received a workshop.You apply the rules around change management to ensure that changes are documented, communicated and implemented in a controlled manner.Through the configuration management process, you ensure that we have a complete inventory of the assets and components involved in the services.You are involved in projects related to operational network improvements and onboarding of new technologies and solutions.KnowledgeCisco LAN & WLAN technologiesWAN: both MPLS & SDWANGeneral network knowledge: Routing, Subnetting, VLAN, SNMP etc.Ideally also knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc.Z-ScalerExternal DNS and PKI certificatesCheckpoint FirewallCisco Prime/ISELinuxService NowWorking within projects
