Do you like a wide range of tasks with many internal and external contacts? Are you an organised person who follows up on things from A to Z and brings them to a successful conclusion? Then the position of Operational Buyer at Miele is made for you. You will be part of the Finance team, where you will be responsible for operational tasks.
What you will be doing:
- Maintain contacts with existing suppliers but also look for new partners where you will be responsible for price negotiations (also follow up on tenders).
- Follow up debt collection files from customers.
- Preparing purchase orders in SAP as well as following up invoices with missing PO’s.
- Preparing tax returns for Luxembourg.
- Taking care of the administration for fleet and facilities.
- Internal contact for the ticketing tool of our shared service center.

The Operational Buyer we are looking for:
- Has a Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience (attitude is more important than degree).
- Preferably has experience in a coordinating role within a finance department (both experienced persons and school-leavers are welcome).
- Knows how to get to get things done and is well organized.
- Is a fluent communicator (NL/FR/ENG) who enjoys frequent contact (internal/external, local/international).
- Gets energy from extinguishing fires and solving cases.
- Works efficiently and follows up files strictly.
