Mission Statement

We are looking for a highly motivated Process Engineer.

In this role you will contribute to the success of Buckman EMENA by improving operational excellence and achievement of Production overall objectives through driving process safety and a continuous improvement culture, ensuring high quality standards, and contributing on projects.


Expectations for the role

  • Manufacturing/Process improvements role
  • Process safety: HAZOP’s, MOC’s, permits, 5Q (5 Why investigation), procedures, etc.;
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards: production quality, rework, 5Q, SQC (statistical quality control), cleaning procedure, reduction of product quality variability.
  • Follow up on production: frozen schedule, production and SAP problem solving, monthly reporting, reduction of variability between actuals and scheduled production;
  • Contribute to continuous improvements with focus on waste and utilities reduction and efficiency gains;
  • Contribute on production projects in collaboration with the Max Value team (multidisciplinary improvement team).
  • Process NPIP’s (New Product Introduction Process).
  • Back Up plant manager for the production part, as required


Minimum requirement to apply

  • Chemical engineering (Master is a plus);
  • Experience in chemical process/production industry is a plus;
  • Putting safety first;
  • Willingness to develop process safety awareness and knowledge through training;
  • IT/computer skills: Excel and PowerPoint are required, SAP is a plus.
