Process Engineer

The Process Engineer is responsible for defining and optimizing the manufacturing processes of Ewon industrial routers, driving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

This person provides technical expertise in assembly techniques and product design reviews. Thiey collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and drive continuous improvement efforts. The Process Engineer is a member of the Industrialization team.

Your Impact: Role and Responsibilities

  • You design, review, and enhance products manufacturing processes (PCBA, test and final assembly) with a focus on flow optimization, digitalization, and automation
  • You lead the technical aspects of internal and external New Product Introduction projects and ensure timely completion
  • You review R&D designs to ensure they are optimal, cost-effective, and suitable for high-quality production
  • You keep a critical eye and contribute to specific assembly techniques and processes for mass production with subcontractors (DFM review, Dedicated tooling, Poka-Yoke principles, etc.)
  • You setup KPI dashboards and monitor test benches and manufacturing performances. You also define and prioritize continuous improvement actions as needed
  • You write comprehensive product manufacturing documentation and work instructions
  • You provide technical expertise in quality according to IPC standards
  • You ensure traceability of materials during manufacturing and track changes of methods, tools and equipment
  • You facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between suppliers and the HMS Sourcing, Quality and Design teams
  • You actively participate in technical factory audits of subcontractors

Your Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • You have a degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • You have proven professional experience in a similar role
  • You know manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, quality control standards Familiarity with IPC standards) and design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
  • You have professional knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
