What if you could take control of energy processes and play a key role in projects that will shape the sustainable future of energy?

Join Equans as a Process Engineer in the Sustainable Energetic Solutions (SES) department in Grimbergen or Fleurus. With your expertise, you will optimize the core of energy installations while participating in innovative projects.

In this role, you will be based at one of these two sites, depending on the projects and your preference.

Ready to transform energy?

  • you coordinate the process activities and basic design for large-scale energy projects involving thermal and electrical energy production
  • you ensure compliance with contractual design conditions and performance guarantees at each stage, from the quote to the final acceptance by the client
  • you design a concept for a safe and properly functioning installation
  • you perform the heat and mass balance of the installations, ensuring their efficiency
  • you create the Process Flow Diagrams and adjust its key parameters (fluids, flow, pressure, temperature, …) for various operational conditions such as normal operation, startup/shutdown, and process upsets and trips
  • you supervise the establishment and revisions of the P&IDs, ensuring consistency between design and implementation
  • you provide process data for the technical sheets of the various equipment necessary for the installation
  • you plan and lead HAZOP and LOPA sessions
  • you write the functional description of the installation
  • you define the process values for the piping list
  • you support the commissioning team during the hot startup of the installation on-site
  • you define and monitor the performance tests of the installation to ensure everything operates according to the highest standards
  • you establish the performance report
  • you draft the Operational Manual to ensure optimal monitoring of the installations

Ready to take action?

  • you master energy systems and have experience in process management
  • you know how to use specialized software to design energy systems, including P&IDs, heat balances, and datasheets
  • you can handle pressure while meeting deadlines
  • you communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • you work in Dutch, French and English
