About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer to join our team in Tielt. This role is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in process or manufacturing engineering within the automotive machinery sector, contributing to cutting-edge solutions in an innovative and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive machinery, with a focus on precision engineering and efficiency.
- Analyze and improve production workflows to enhance performance, quality, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to implement innovative solutions for automotive machinery manufacturing.
- Lead projects from concept through implementation, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, proactively optimizing complex manufacturing systems.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by adopting new technologies, tooling advancements, and automation techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Industrial, Process, Electrical, Chemical, or Automotive Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the automotive or machinery industry (exceptional recent graduates with strong technical skills will also be considered).
- Expertise in manufacturing processes, including precision machining, assembly, and material properties.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation, and engineering tools related to automotive machinery manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimizing production systems.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.
