As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for completing the project execution within budget plan, on-time delivery and good quality in Process Automation business Area in Chongqing, China. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities
  • Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Being responsible for Engineering design including system design, hardware design, and software design
  • Working as site engineer or site manager according to project requirement
  • Being responsible for project material cost and manhour cost
  • Managing the 3rd partner engineer and guiding them and being responsible for all technical issues of the project, track, push and solve project issues during the project lifecycle
  • Coordinating with other departments according to project requirement and writing technical document and summary for sharing

Your background
  • 3+ years of working experience in Chemical and Refinery, Oil & Gas business
  • Familiar with ABB DCS system (800xA) and digital knowledge is preferred
  • Quick learning ability, willingness to take up challenges and travel
  • Capability of working under pressures
  • A degree in automation and control field or equivalent
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin communication skills
  • Must be independent, self-motivated leader with a passion for account management work and be proactive, cooperative, team player with high sense of responsibility
