As a Project Engineer within the Post Sales Project Team, you are responsible for the design and technical development of complete hatchery projects. You specify and draw up technical solutions for water distribution, air ducts and cable distribution. You take full responsibility for the project, from A to Z.

During the project elaboration you manage one or more draughts men, you share your expertise with fellow Project Engineers & you report to the Project Post Sales Coordinator.

Job description

• You take care of the project preparation, in consultation with the Project Post Sales Coordinator and the other Project Engineers within the team.

• You are responsible for the follow-up and final check of the engineering and execution drawings. Execution drawings contain the hydraulics including heating and cooling system, electrical distribution, routing of all piping and air ducts with the suspension.

• You make the necessary calculations of air volumes, duct and pipe diameters, size and configure the correct pumps, sizing of electrical cables etc. Based on these calculations will you make the selection of all the various components for the assigned project.

• Using the Revit design program, you export component lists via PLM (PTC-Windchill). This way the necessary parts can be ordered by the purchasing department.

Profile

• You have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (electro mechanics, electricity, air conditioning techniques).

• You preferably have experience with project elaboration, and you have sufficient insight to develop a project in a structured way.

• You possess the necessary self-employment and maturity to manage proactively project work, make decisions, to manage problems and take responsibilities.

• You have a ’hands on’ mentality, without carrying out the (project) work ’hands on’.

• You are a team player within the Project Engineer Post Sales team and enjoy working closely with various other involved departments (Customer Service, Pre-Sales, Expedition, etc.).

• You have a broad interest in various technical disciplines, materials and installations and you are motivated to delve further into this.

• You have basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, knowledge of Revit and PLM (PTC-Windchill) is a plus.

• You approach the project with a critical and cost-conscious view.

• You have good communication skills, in Dutch and English.
