- You initiate developments in order to be in line with all requirements and standards concerning safety-, environment and our KAITEKI principles;
- You review the technology deployed on site and together with R&D propose a technology road map for the site and associated capital projects to deliver changes;
- You develop and manage the engineering standards to be used on the Tielt site and ensure they comply with appropriate nation and company standards;
- You are responsible for developing and defining the capital program for the Tielt site. Any proposed project shall have a clearly defined purpose and agreed benefits that align to the site strategy;
- You deliver the agreed capital program to the highest safety and KAITEKI standards and to the budgets and approved capital values for each project;
- You manage, coach and develop your people in all aspects, provide them and yourself with training and new essential technical know-how and you ensure all HR workflows are followed.
Profil
- You have a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Electromechanics/Process Engineering);
- You have at least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, of which at least 5 years in leading technology teams through improvement programs;
- Experience in deployment of continuous improvement tools and leading technology change projects is indispensable;
- You are a driven project manager;
- You have knowledge of manufacturing technologies used in the plastics conversion industry;
- You are fascinated by Lean Management and 6sigma principles;
- You have the drive to continuously improve and can quickly deal with changes;
- You are a master in planning & prioritizing and being resultdriven is one of your core qualities ;
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English;
- As a born people manager you succeed in continuously empowering your colleagues;
- You are a hands- on manager who sees opportunities instead of problems and who makes quick and thoughtful decisions;
- You built and maintain cross-site relationships;
