????About the role

Our client, Belgium’s front-runner in space electronics applications for satellites and launchers, the world leader in power conditioning and distribution for satellites and the principal supplier of electronics for Ariane 5, is now recruiting for an experienced Project Manager. This role is based in Charleroi. (There is the option to work 1-2 days from home).


????You will be responsible for:

• Delivering a variety of projects on time and on budget to customer requirements

• Managing projects from bid through to execution

• Ensuring company quality processes are followed

• Liaise with customer to maintain effective relationships

• Working with a dynamic team to produce innovative solutions

• Preparing documentation including proposals, project management plans, change notices

• Reporting project performance to management and customers.

• Maintaining hands-on control of the program through a process of regular program reviews, design reviews and audits, staff meetings and other program meetings

• Identifying and managing program risks and opportunities including prioritization, mitigation, escalation, and resolution

• Support to proposal and business development activities

????Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Solid project management experience gained either in the aerospace, automotive or rail sectors.

• Solid experience in electronic engineering

• Proven experience in building and maintaining the customer relationship

• Strong leadership and negotiation skills

• Fluent in French and English
