Our client is a leading global supplier of innovative systems for operating rooms, intensive-care units, sterilization departments for companies and organisations within the life sciences sector.
Description
The Project Manager Life Sciences is responsible for managing the strategic projects with Key Accounts.
She/He coordinates all activities to ensure that the project is completed on time, within the budget and that the project’s objectives are met.
She/He also ensures a follow-up of the installed projects in coordination with the Key account manager at sites over the year.
The key responsibilities of the Project Manager Life Sciences:
- Key stakeholder in the Order to SAT LS process
- Manage the interfaces between the key accounts resources, potential third parties
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that customer projects are delivered on-time, within scope (from order hand over to signed acceptance document) and within budget
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Participate to FAT
- Participate to meetings with the customer at the installation site
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate technical verification to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and other related stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements
The ideal candidate has an educational background in the field of engineering for technical project managers and a solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in life sciences or engineering sector.
She/He is fluent in French and English and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Dutch is an advantage.
She/he has a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Stakeholders’ management, attention to detail, multi-tasking skills and autonomy are also important criterias.
