ATEX Gap Assessment Chairman

Brabant Wallon – contracting

Our partner is looking for a ATEX Gap Assessment Chairman to join its team. This international company is well-known for its pharmaceuticals.

What are your responsibilities?

The chairman who lead the project, will be responsible for conducting compliance analyzes (Gap Assessment) on these HSE (health, safety and environment) pLCA (Potentially Life Changing Activities). In the event of non-application of the requirements on existing assets, the chairman will be in charge of identifying the related risk, quantifying it and proposing remedial actions.

  • Manage the assessment teams (composed of External suppliers and internal profiles) at different stages of the whole process (Inventory, assessment and deep dive, remediation plan)
  • Manage the planning of all stages
  • Prepare and plan gap assessments with the various stakeholders (technical experts, EHS, area managers, engineering and maintenance, external companies, etc.)
  • Collect and sort the documentation and information necessary for the realization of the Gaps assessments
  • Carry out the audit and identify major gaps
  • Lead risk analysis
  • Understand expert’s report and provide remedial actions
  • Consolidate the conclusion of the assessment in a final report
  • Report the progress status of gap assessments (progress, success, issues, risks, etc.)
  • Review the process of gap assessment after each gate by improving/adapting continuously ways of working

Who are you?

  • You hold a Master’s degree in civil Engineer, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical sciences …
  • You have a minimum 5 years’ experience as Project Manager or Project Leader: coordination skills, planning follow-ups etc.
  • You have experience within chemical, pharmaceutical or biotech company (must)
  • You have an expertise in cGMP and HSE standards
  • You have an experience with demonstrated application of PED legislation
  • You are experimented with People management (external/internal) & stakeholders influence
  • You are fluent in French in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skill
  • Ability to work independently and in a matrixial organization
