Our client, aglobally active company, is looking for an experienced and motivatedSenior Accountant / Team Leader to manage financial operations and accounting functions at their Vilvoorde office. In this pivotal role, you will lead a small team of three accountingprofessionals, working closely with the CFOto ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end closures.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reportsand analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and procedures for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure proper tracking and management of inventory.
  • Mentor, and develop a team of three accounting professionals, fostering a positive and productive team environment.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
  • Fluent in Dutch or French, and English.
