One of our clients is looking for a Credit & Collection Specialistto join their team.The role covers the Belgium and Luxembourg markets and requires effective communication in French, Dutch, and English, as you will be interacting with a wide range of clientsand colleagues across the region.

As a Credit & Collection Specialist, your main duties will include:

• Being a vital member of the Credit & Collection team, providing comprehensive credit solutions to clientsand the sales team.
• Collaborating on special projects with regional and global teamsand working alongside external financing partners to offer tailored solutions to clients.
• Monitoring credit exposure, managing risks, and negotiating credit terms with customers who are unable to meet established guidelines.
• Proactively addressing credit issues for key B2B clients by evaluating their financial conditions to minimize risks.
• Ensuring full compliance with both corporate and local credit policies, while actively contributing to their continuous improvement.
• Promoting financial awareness through field engagement with the sales force, customer visits, and conducting training sessions.Proactively addressing credit issues for key B2B clients by evaluating their financial conditions to minimize risks.

Profiles

Our client is seeking a proactive team player who is comfortable working in afast-paced and ever-changing environment.You should be an attentive listener, quick to ask insightful questions, and eager to develop within the company. The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years of experience in credit review, accounting, accounts receivables, internal/external audit, controlling or finance.
• A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
• Practical experience with problem-solving, financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and related procedures.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP/BI is a plus.
• Ambition for international career opportunities is a plus.
