Position overview
The Client Manager’s key responsibility is to focus on defined set of (150) large corporate companies. He will be responsible for positioning Aon within this client and prospection base (understanding the needs, creating a compelling value proposition, content leadership, PR activities, event planning). The Client Manager will be responsible for achieving ambitious business development targets within the set client and target list.

Job responsibilities

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Does the same when prospecting a new client.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel (both in Belgium and abroad), including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts and business development.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

Qualifications

  • University degree or similar.
  • Five to ten years of experience with account management in a business to business environment in the insurance, financial services or consultancy industry.
  • Fluent in Dutch or French and professional knowledge of English.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
