  • The Role:

Here is what you will work on for this important project:
  • You will join the Controls Software team that is responsible for software integration and testing, and additionally develops related tools and processes according to automotive industry standards and methodologies.
  • You will mainly focus on one of our hybrid DCT powertrain projects, but the goal is that the developed tools and processes are standardized so that they can also be used/applied in other projects.
  • The controls software is developed according to the Model Based Development process (V-cycle) with Simulink.
  • You will be working on: Controls SW integration, Controls SW testing (unit, MIL, HIL), SW generation, Controls SW build & release, tools development, processes development, automation.
  • The goal of your role is to develop and rollout/use the software tools and processes for Controls development, for code generation and software build, all ISO26262 and AUTOSAR compliant.

  • Requirements:

We are not looking for the candidate that ticks all the boxes, but if you find yourself in the following sentences then we would be glad to have a chat with you!
  • Master degree in the field of Controls, Mechatronics, Software, Computer, Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in model-based design or embedded software engineering, rapid controller prototyping, and real-time systems testing is desired.
  • Experience with a broad set of MathWorks products (including Simulink, Stateflow, EmbeddedCoder) is also desired.
  • Good experience working with AUTOSAR
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (such as Python, PERL, Java)
  • Experience with Functional Safety standard ISO26262
  • Experience with cybersecurity
  • Experience with modelling standards (MAAB), coding standards (MISRA C), software implementation standards, and/or certification processes and requirements (DO-178B) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with C/C++ code, makefiles, and toolchain-based build processes. Experience in architecture and/or interface design for embedded systems.
  • Experience with Target Language Compiler (TLC) is a strong plus.
  • You proceed according to a good methodology in development and problem solving.
  • You are well organized and have strong analytical and communication skills.
  • You are an excellent team player.
  • You desire to grow yourself, your team and the company.
  • Very strong knowledge of (and enthusiasm for!) model-based design process and its implications for embedded systems development.
