We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager, to join our EMEA Finance team, who will manage a set of activities to ensure compliance with IFRS and Belgian GAAP, KION corporate policies and internal and external audits. The Finance Manager Benelux will be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting, the preparation of financial statements, fulfilling CIT and VAT requirements and monitoring the liquidity of the entity.
The role involves people management responsibilities.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Main responsibilities:
  • Manage Monthly and quarterly reporting activities ensuring compliance with IFRS and Group policies and timely submission of the reporting package
  • Ensure compliance with CIT and VAT requirements for legal entity and branches
  • Prepare statutory accounts under local GAAP
  • Coordinate local audit and be main person of contact for external auditors
  • Manage the liquidity of the entity
  • Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies
  • Act as a trusted business partner for the other functions
  • Prepare financial information, and present them at board/ shareholder meetings
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and business practices
Qualifications and experience:
  • Qualified Accountant with 7+ years’ experience in accounting, preferably in listed companies
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and Belgian GAAP
  • CPA or ACCA preferred
  • Experience in Tax and VAT reconciliation and reporting
  • Experience with project accounting a plus
  • Proven track record of managing small teams effectively
  • Inquisitive mindset, strong analytical, technical and communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
