POSITION PURPOSE

We are looking for a Senior Power BI expert with expert; end to end knowledge of PowerBI to strengthen the IQVIA Business Intelligence and Data Science team. In this department, we bring added value to our customers due to our unique commitment to and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry. We deliver both end-to-end projects in service/consultancy mode as well as out-of-the box solutions hosted on our internal Reporting as a Service platform.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Your focus will be situated on assisting our internal and external customers with your expert knowledge of Power BI and its ecosystem

· Interface with different parties to understand their business requirements, which you will translate into solutions & applications

· You will be involved in all phases of the project, from requirement gathering to delivery, as well as defining best practices and building innovative solutions.

· You will be able to deliver trainings and coach both technical and non-technical people

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

· A bachelor’s or master’s degree with minimal 5 years of relevant work experience

· Languages: English, Dutch and/or French

· Experience in gathering and challenging requirements and translating these into a design and/or solution

· Hands-on front-end development experience in Business Intelligence projects using Microsoft Technology.

· A customer-oriented personality with positive drive and a pragmatic, innovative approach

· High interest in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation

ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ELEMENTS ARE CONSIDERED AS A BIG +

· Affinity with the healthcare sector

· Knowledge of data modeling. Comfortable in transforming operational data sources into suitable data structures to serve reporting purposes.

· Knowledge of Cognos and/or Qlik Sense

· Knowledge of Data Warehousing and/or ETL development

· Experience and knowledge of Azure
