About the job
Together with the Sales team of Benelux, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for building business in a sustainable way with customers mainly in the retail channel in Belgium.
- Drawing up and executing the customer strategy and translating this into a commercial annual plan;
- Optimize distribution, visibility and promo execution of the portfolio at your customers;
- Relationship management of existing customers and acquiring new customers in accordance with sales and brand plans;
- In collaboration with Trade marketing, make the right choices on assortment and implement the company’s category vision. Also look for opportunities to introduce new (international) brands;
- Close follow-up of customer performance, customer budget and conditions;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Category Management, Supply, Finance, Field sales) to ensure growth together;
- Support with forecasting, customer documents, promo proposals, price offers etc.;
- Cooperation with the sales team to ensure a perfect implementation of customer and brands plans and activations.
About the ideal candidate
- You hold a Master or Bachelor’s Degree in a commercial direction
- Minimum 3 years commercial experience of which minimum 2 year of experience with account management in Belgium
- Knowledge of Belgian FMCG & retail market
- Dynamic, adaptable, pro-active and energetic team player
- Strong business sense and entrepreneurial skills
- Fluent in French and English / Dutch
