For our Schneider Electric SA division, we are looking for a Marketing Manager Power Systems, who works for the region of Belgium, based in Uccle, Belgium.
Your meaningful purpose
Responsible for product management of the GIS product range (RM6, FBX, RMAirSet, GHA, GMA). Define customer needs considering Synergrid regulations.
Implement local requirements working closely with production plants and local adaptation center as well as R&D for new developments (SF6-free). Develop local solutions or find external partner to meet customer specifications.
Develop a strategic vision for his/her product range. Support and train the concerned internal departments (sales, competency center, GFS) to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction.
Understand and monitor the market by developing competitive analyses.
Your Daily Task And Responsibilities
- Offer marketing GIS product range
Gather intelligence about competition and stay up to date on market trends by assessing information retrieved for sales team and comparing his/her product range to competitors’ products.
Determine product pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
Monitor evolutions in sales for his/her product range and finetune commercial policy based on measured analysis. Provide information on short-term and long-term product sales forecasts.
Stay in close contact with the global Product Managers to remain updated on productivity, purchase, and quality action plans.
- Product development / local requirements
Work closely with the local adaptation center and guide the industrialisation and logistics of our local offer. Facilitate inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.
Become an expert on local requirements and build a sustainable relationship with Synergrid and the grid operators to influence them in writing their specifications.
Create an internal network to stay informed about product changes and manage the potential impact on the local business.
Responsible for the successful homologation of his/her product range, necessary for customers connected on the public distribution grid in Belgium.

Develop and maintain tendering tools for competency center and/or customers.
Perform product demos to customers in the showroom and/or organize factory visits.
Train internal departments on new features and developments.
Support sales on customer visits and cooperate in the organization of customer events.
- Business Development
Identify and prepare public tenders working closely with the concerned BO.
Align with sales, legal and management in the analysis and definition of the commercial policy.
Job environment/ Relationship to the organization
Cooperation with other PS product managers, Sales teams, Local Adaptation center, R&D, production plants, Marcom teams, quality department.

Who you are?
Your Education And Experience
- Bachelor/Master electromechanics, electronics, automation or similar or equivalent by experience
- Preferable 5 years of experience in a similar field is a plus.
- Ability to manage technical topics related to our products portfolio and able to get on with technical specialist both internally and externally.
- Previous experience as Project Engineer, Sales Engineer, Product Manager or Asset Manager is a real asset.
- Proven experience in the electric domain e.g. within contractors/specifiers
- Strong business acumen and ability to develop and analytical understanding of a client’s business.
- Bilingual French and Dutch with a good knowledge of English.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and being computer literate
- Good understanding of Schneider Electric’s mission and objectives and keen to participate to sustainability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to develop sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving skills to support project managers in ensuring customer satisfaction.
- A real team player but also capable of operating independently.
- An entrepreneur who is flexible and has a positive attitude.
- Excellent listening & communication skills, ability to influence others and to build strong business networks up to VP level.
- Proactive and open-minded personality with passion to work in international teams
