Job Title: Freelance Master Data Project Coordinator

Location: Walloon Region, Belgium

Type: Freelance Contract

Duration: 1 year (high likelihood of extension)

Job Description:

My client is seeking an experienced Master Data Project Coordinator to join a leading food manufacturer in the Walloon Region of Belgium. In this critical role, you will coordinate data management projects, oversee a team of three data analysts, and report directly to the Reliability and Maintenance Manager.

This position demands a mix of leadership, structural thinking, and hands-on production engineering expertise. Fluency in French is essential, and experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead master data management projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to a team of three data analysts.
  • Collaborate closely with the Reliability and Maintenance Manager and cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize strong structural and leadership skills to drive project success.
  • Apply production engineering expertise to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Support the team with effective use of SAP and other data management systems (beneficial but not mandatory).

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, master data management, or related roles.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Proven structural and leadership abilities.
  • Background in production engineering; food industry experience is a significant advantage.
  • Fluency in French is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week (8 hours/day), primarily on-site.
