YOUR MISSION
- Design the latest microfluidic devices for use in life-science and medical purposes.
- Responsible for modeling and simulations of device and perform analytical and numerical analysis with the help of various instruments such asComsol, Ansys or Matlab.
- Assess the devices and evaluate the tolerancy of design faults in the microfluidic systems.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of fellow engineers and (micro)biologists.
- Manage time according to the schedule and be able to adapt quickly to the needs of the project.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Masters degree (or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics or equivalent with around 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Proficient using Ansys, Comsol, or similar tools for numerical modeling.
- Programming/coding skills (e.g. OpenFoam, Matlab, Python etc) are seen as a big plus.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team within R&D.
- Previous experience working with microfluidic products and systems and analysing them using both analytical and numerical methodology
