This position is in Cargill’s food ingredients and bio-industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice companies.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Sales & Customer Support Representative for Gourmet & Distribution is responsible for the full order to cash flow and supporting the Sales Manager in building and maintaining relationships with the Gourmet Accounts in Europe and Asia for the portfolio of products made in CCC Europe. This specialist is responsible for supporting our customer promise and combines a good knowledge of sales processes with a dedication to maximize customer satisfaction, meeting customer expectations with regards to orders and deliveries.The Sales & Customer Support Representative for Gourmet & Distribution is the primary point of contact for our customers dealing with new inquiries, call-off execution and invoicing, and therefore he/she coordinates activities between the different departments involved (mainly sales, contract desk, planning, transport, quality) in order to achieve the committed service levels.In this role the employee will demonstrate high responsiveness and easy accessibility to our customers, making it simple for the customer to do business with us, in this way driving further growth in Gourmet & Distribution as per our strategy.Key Accountabilities- Maintain systems and relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments and inventory management.
- Inform customers about order status, invoices, contract balances and other information needed to complete the sale.
- Execute customer service strategies.
- Provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of customer service practices and procedures.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Other minimum qualifications may apply.
- 4-5 years of experience in related department (customer service, sales support etc.).
- English is a must, Dutch and/or French are preferred.
- ERP knowledge (Navision, Sales Force etc.).
