Job Description

The Trade Marketing Manager will have the following responsibilities :

  • Provide the commercial strategic & tactical direction for the Country Sales teams
  • Category vision: become category expert, scan market, provide competitive insights, identify opportunities, act as advisor (internally & externally)
  • Be responsible for supporting the Sales team in the implementation of agreed Commercial strategies in support of Bel’s net sales growth agenda
  • Collaborating closely and efficiently with the KAM becoming a winning duo
  • Providing his expertise about market tendencies during customer’s meeting, aims to grow category at customers and works on the optimal commercial strategy at his customers (in store execution, visibility, assortment mix, etc.)
  • Key player in demand review while proactively providing detailed understanding of Vol/Net sales promo and anticipation of risks and opportunities
  • Create visibility on key performance indicators such as share of shelf, number of sku, number of pos materials, etc.
  • Support on the implementation, governance & monitoring of the salesforce guidelines within the country.
  • Support on different RGM topics (pack price architecture, route to market, retailer mix, assortment mix, etc.)

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent in Business economics field
  • You have 3 to 5 years experiencein a similar position in the FMCG sector
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French, english is a plus
  • You have strong analytical skill with a capacity to synthetise data
  • You have a result-oriented profile and are obviously commercially minded, sales and negotiation techniques have no secret to you
  • You are a strong proposer, with a capacity for conviction and customer orientation
  • You are organised, know how to prioritise and take a step back from your work
  • You have good interpersonal skills, are a good listener and enjoy working in a team
  • You have a good analytical mind and a good understanding of the business/field
