We are seeking a bilingual (English/German), curious, self-motivated, and strategic PR Manager to join our global communications team. This role will own the public relations strategy, program development, and execution for raising Auth0’s brand visibility in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). This can be a remote position, if located anywhere in Germany or the CEST time zone.

Auth0 has been growing its brand awareness in Germany since July 2019, and we are now investing in a dedicated in-house PR manager to expand our program both within and beyond German borders into Austria and Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of how to build trust and compelling stories as an American brand in the DACH region, and a clear strategic vision for how they would own and shape the existing program. They will be a confident cultural expert, helping internal teams across marketing navigate positioning and messaging questions in their region, localizing global campaigns, and executing local activities..

What You Will Do

• Own, communicate, execute, and measure a strategic communications plan for growing Auth0’s brand awareness in Germany including recommendations for expansion into new DACH markets.
• Uplift Auth0’s global communications goals by owning the strategy and execution of public relations activities in the DACH region.
• Collaborate with Auth0’s global network of regional PR managers to share best practices and assist with other markets where necessary.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with key regional media contacts and influencers on behalf of Auth0.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for the Germany-based PR agency and internally manage all requests for editorial, speaking, and content opportunities.
• Utilize pitching and storytelling skills to secure coverage across all forms of earned media including broadcast, print, and online, in national and local media outlets.
• Manage PR measurement and analytics program to track quarterly success metrics and determine the impact of communication efforts.
• Maintain a keen understanding of market-moving news and key industry trends to identify executive thought leadership opportunities.
• Experience working with executives and senior leadership, and managing executive thought leadership programs.
• Write press releases, bylined articles, speaking abstracts, and product/trend pitches; and serve as editor for all content coming through PR agency.
• Research and submit relevant CFPs to promote the thought leadership of Auth0’s global and local spokespeople.
• Assist with event coordination and planning; attend industry events and interface with key media/influencers.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including DACH regional marketing and sales, to identify opportunities for integrated campaigns and customer stories.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• At least 6-8 years experience, with agency experience preferred
• Knowledge of the DACH media landscape and trends
• Must have background and PR experience in technology industry (experience with American companies and/or developer brands is a plus)
• Proven track record in media and public relations
• Written and verbal fluency in both English and German
• Bachelor’s Degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
• Some travel may be required (10%)
