As part of the global development team you lead the technicalaspect of new products assuring:

- High innovation

Your main tasks

Actively supportingthe ideationphase of a new products.
Proposenew technologies and materials, in order to contribute to the superiority of the product and the category strategy.
Analysethe Product Brief and set up product specifications.
Execute an in depth feasibility study(product concept research, material research, product cost and investment research).
Preparea Go/No Go study on the design and engineering product concepts (product concept analysis on functionality, material research, processability, product quality, product safety, product cost and investment research).
To work out mechanical sketches/concepts during concept and development phase.
Initiateand build visual and/or functional prototypes and follow-up on functional testing.
Be the technical responsibleduring the development and trial runs of new products.
Collaboratewith and give instructions to the CAD Engineer and the Application Lab Engineer as well working closely with the internal specialist (Operations Engineer/Mold Engineer/…)
Collectall information and reports on the development of new products and register all project data into a tracking system.
Travel to Tupperware plants or suppliers for technical meetings and/or to assist in debugging.

Your profile

You hold a Master’s degree in industrial engineering electro mechanics, plastics (chemistry) or industrial design with a a proven experience in project management or product development;
You hold an experience of 3-5 years preferablyin a manufacturing or product development environment;
Experience in plastics(different types and processes) is an asset;
You have a basic knowledge of CAD;
You are a natural problem solverand are passionateabout technology;
You have a learning mindset, are able to prioritizeand value team work;
You are an outside of the box thinker who can see the potentialof a product when looking at new technologies;
You are fluent in English(other languages are an asset);
You are skilled in reportingand know how to get your point across.
