The Retail Banking team is currently looking for a Daily Banking Receptionist/Internal Relationship Manager. The Retail Banking department is responsible for providing front-line support to private and professional clients in their day-to-day banking. We manage reception at the Brussels branch. The Daily Banking team offers a qualitative service to our customers, usually by phone or by e-mail because we are primarily a remote bank. The Daily Banking team is based in Brussels.
As the Daily Banking Receptionist and Relationship Manager, you will be working in a team of 7 colleagues who are responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing customer contacts as part of their business relations management.
The Practice Leader shares the different operational objectives on a daily basis and tries to offer each Daily Banking Receptionist/Relationship Manager optimal versatility and variety in their work.
You will undertake and be responsible for the following operational and commercial tasks:
For the reception desk:
- You will process incoming and outgoing mail by sorting, scanning and sending it to the right recipient. You will also process registered mail.
- You will answer telephone calls and put people in touch with the appropriate internal contact person.
- You will greet customers and visitors who have business appointments.
- You will manage the commercial material available to the sales staff, liaising with marketing colleagues.
- You will provide support to colleagues working remotely to manage their needs with regard to their customers coming to the reception desk.
For the Daily Banking team:
- You will inform clients and/or prospects of the unique positioning and approach of Triodos Bank.
- You will help to respond to all incoming questions from our customers through the various contact channels.
- As such, you will be responsible for listening to customers’ needs and ensuring that they receive the products and services they require on time.
- You will be responsible for the administrative follow-up of our private and professional clients’ files. This includes certain documents for opening an account or each change relating to an account.
- You will contact customers and prospects by telephone to provide them with the necessary information, to support them in becoming Triodos customers or to arrange a (telephone) interview.
- You have a high-school diploma.
- You have a keen interest in customer contact and financial and banking products.
- You are customer-oriented, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
- You enjoy dealing with customers and prospects by telephone, e-mail and face to face.
- You are able to spot commercial opportunities and provide our customers with basic information on all our products. In the case of complex files, you ensure they are followed-up by a colleague specialised in the subject.
- You enjoy working with colleagues from other departments.
- You have a very good command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken. You have a good level of French, and are willing to improve. A sound knowledge of English is also an advantage.
- You have a proactive, innovative and collaborative personality.
