Job content

This is a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager position embedded in a pan-European Sales Business Transformation (SBT) initiative. The selected candidate will be responsible for mapping and supporting the redesign of complex sales and vehicle distribution processes across Europe, working closely with Toyota Motor Europe (TME) and national markets (NMSCs).

This role sits at the intersection of business process architecture, cross-functional stakeholder orchestration, and strategic delivery coordination — with a strong emphasis on documentation, stakeholder facilitation, and structured communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Map current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes related to vehicle ordering, allocation, and delivery across multiple markets.
  • Lead and facilitate discovery sessions with business and IT stakeholders across TME and NMSCs.
  • Document requirements, pain points, and systems integrations with precision and clarity.
  • Create and maintain transformation deliverables including process flows, stakeholder maps, tracking sheets, and alignment frameworks.
  • Support the development of a master plan for the SBT initiative by consolidating fragmented inputs across teams.
  • Act as a liaison between business and IT to align transformation goals with systems strategy.
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps in alignment, and areas lacking structure and drive consensus to resolve them.
  • Coach and support regional market teams in adopting new practices and documenting local processes.
  • Operate with autonomy while escalating critical blockers or misalignments effectively
Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Transformation Delivery
  • Proven ability to structure information, map processes (BPMN or equivalent), and document requirements
  • Experience in ambiguous or low-structure environments where frameworks need to be created from scratch
  • Strong communication skills — able to engage with both technical and business stakeholders across cultures
  • Stakeholder fluency and diplomacy — capable of balancing viewpoints and navigating consensus-building
  • Excellent documentation and visual communication abilities (Visio, Confluence, PowerPoint, Jira, etc.)
  • Familiarity with project coordination and tracking methods (RAID logs, status reporting, milestone planning)
  • Fluency in English required; Japanese language skills are a strong advantage
  • Experience in automotive, supply chain, or pan-European programs is a plus

For this role, you may choose whether you would prefer a full-time employment arrangement or work as a contractor. In case you would be a full-time employee (FTE), this is a list of benefits included:
