Sales Engineer

A company active in the ICT/Financial Services sector is currently looking to hire a Sales Engineer to join their offices in Louvain-la-Neuve.

As Sales Engineer you will play an essential role in providing solutions (financial software modules) to customers and responding to specifications. Not only will you propose the most appropriate solutions to meet the demands of prospects and customers, but you will also demonstrate the software solutions in front of customers, and take part in the improvement of various internal processes to enrich the presentation material.

Your main responsibilities as the new Sales Engineer will include:

• You will present the different modules of the software solution clearly and precisely
• You will proactively collaborate with senior sales colleagues to prepare the most relevant demonstration scenarios
• You work on the European market, mainly Belgium, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the Netherlands
• You will contribute to the achievement of the sales objectives
• You will work proactively in the Business Development department, and you will collaborate effectively with other departments in the company, especially the managers of the consulting teams
• You will collaborate effectively with the Marketing Manager to structure the customer/market communication and marketing materials (web, social networks, ...)
• You will demonstrate on a clear manner the different modules of the software solutions

Your profile:

• You have a Master’s in Finance or Economics
• You have minimum 3 years of experience in the field of financial software sales or as a business consultant in portfolio management and/or analytics software
• You are willing to travel in Europe depending on the needs

Your strengths:

• You have good knowledge of asset management, portfolio management and analytics businesses
• You have good knowledge of performance calculation and / or knowledge of the insurance business is a plus
• You are proficient in French and English
• You are comfortable using financial software’s
• You feel at ease with the understanding of the customer business needs
• You have good presentation skills
• You feel at ease working with Office suite
• You are familiar with software concept
• You are dynamic, able to take initiative and result oriented
• You are a team-player, and you enjoy working with colleagues
• Your values align with those of the company and you promote them
