To strengthen the EQUANS Belux Salesforce Expertise team, located in Brussels, we are looking for a Functional and Technical Salesforce Consultant.
You work on premises at the headquarters of EQUANS Belux, and be flexible between multiple EQUANS and customer locations.
Next to a thorough technical background, you need good organization skills and the ability to interact with the business to analyze new requirements into good solutions.

Your mission

  • you actively participate on multiple salesforce organizations simultaneously, process change requests and incidents
  • you follow and understand new Salesforce products and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions
  • you collaborate with a team of Salesforce Architects, Analysts, Administrators and Developers to help them determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs
  • you work with the other developers and validate their solutions before and during development, but also performate QA when required to ensure that they meet the needs of clients
  • you configure and maintain internal clients Salesforce instances via declarative tools, including workflows, process builders, reports, dashboards, Visualforce, lightning components, Apex classes and triggers…
  • you write test cases that can be delivered to clients and support them during UAT
  • you provide current best practice and third-party solution alternatives from the AppExchange
  • you write test-scenarios and execute tests
  • you write and review technical documentation
  • you may be involved in translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • you communicate intensively with your team about status, technical issues and creative solutions

Your profile

  • you have a bachelor or master’s degree in IT; or equal by experience
  • you have a minimum experience of 2 years in Salesforce technology (medior to senior profile)
  • your solutions are highly scalable, extensible and easy to maintain while keeping the overall end-user experience in mind
  • you have a detailed understanding of the Salesforce Classic, Salesforce Lightning Experience and development environments; the knowledge of the following is an advantage:
    • Salesforce System Administrator
    • Salesforce Service Cloud
    • Salesforce Field Service Lighting
    • Salesforce App Builder
    • Salesforce Community/Experience Cloud
    • Salesforce Architect (one of them)
  • you have a demonstrated knowledge of the Salesforce.com products and comfortable with making configurations in Salesforce including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, process builders, migration tools, and SOQL
  • you have a demonstrated experience in Salesforce development
  • you have a demonstrated knowledge in Java, C#, Apex or Javascript and can develop on small and large-scale projects
  • you have knowledge of Salesforce CRM
  • you preferably have knowledge of common DevOps practices (CI/CD)
  • you preferably have knowledge of Gearset
  • having experience with Jira/Azure DevOps or other project management tools is a plus
  • you can work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple requests and internal clients
  • you can follow guidelines and best practices
  • you can possess strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and engage in continuous learning
  • you are a team player & have a “can-do” attitude
  • you are familiar with the agile methodology
  • you have communication skills, assertiveness, working together
  • you can take initiatives
  • you have coordination skills
  • you speak Dutch or French, with good speaking and writing skills in English
As of today, we are managing 9 different Salesforce platform organizations with a need of day-to-day support & optimization and a healthy flow of new upcoming Salesforce projects within the EQUANS Benelux scope. We have a strong implementation of the Field Service Lightning product as well as the Service Cloud.
