Robert Half is currently recruiting a SAP Fico Analyst to join a company in Hamme.

Our client is a global leader with more than 60 years of expertise and is situated in Hamme.

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

  • Actively seek at finding help to fully understand the details of the Business Processes related to the whole financial flow, and have a good understanding of how these impact the other business processes of the company;
  • Identify improvements & solutions that can help shape the future;
  • Ability to map Business Processes to SAP technologies and best practices;
  • Write Functional and technical specification/ configuration documents;
  • Work together with our SAP implementation partner for externalized development work;
  • Do minor to medium SAP4HANA system developments/configuration;
  • Review documentation;
  • Support and lead tasks in an agile way;
  • Provide support to user requests & incidents;
  • Identify key drivers to define a problem and proposes solutions;
  • Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment;
  • Perform analysis and effective diagnosis of clients’ issues;
  • Help and advice in selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific internal client requirements;
  • Contribute to continuous development of methods and tools;
  • Demonstrate accountability and contributions to the successful realization of the group IT goals.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in either IT, Finance, Business or Engineering;
  • English and French are a must. Any other European language will be a strong asset;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience of working as a Business Analyst, ideally in a SAP environment. Experience acquired through involvement into international projects and support activities will be a strong plus;
  • Experience in an financial environment, preferably in a discrete manufacturing environment, where you have dealt with stock valuation and management, production costs components, standard costs and variances, margin calculation and analysis, tools management;
  • Knowledge of the SAP financial system to include knowledge of SAP functional areas;
  • Outstanding communication skills.
