Overview:The IBP consultant will be required to utilise their deep technical knowledge of SAP IBP to become a trusted partner in advising our business unit planning organisations on best practices and the system configurations needed to define technical capabilities that will support their requirements.The candidate is a team player who loves work on a global team, loves to be hands-on, likes technical challenges to resolve complex requirements, and is willing to operate closely with our business partners. The analytical and technical SAP IBP skills will allow the Consultant to quickly and efficiently support the delivery of projects to enhance our supply chain planning processes.The Consultant must have extensive knowledge of SAP IBP and one or more SAP ERP modules that allows them to quickly analyse reported issues and drive the required adjustments and resolutions.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support our existing SAP IBP, CPI-DS demand & supply planning configuration and associated processes across multiple lines of business.
  • Management and maintenance of our IBP Global Template
  • Provide business analysis services and tools to effectively capture, document and agree our business partner’s requirements.
  • Participate in the technical design (via FSD), build, implement and support enhancements to enable new business unit processes.
  • Solve IBP and SAP module specific problems for one or more functional areas and serve as contact person for our internal and external partners.
  • Support the SAP worldwide in a “Follow the Sun” manner by effectively turning over assignments to other regions on a daily basis as well as taking ownership of assignments from other regions in order to expedite issue resolution
  • Strong alignment and collaboration with the wider IT stakeholder community
  • Create and maintain functional descriptions, specifications to support to the delivery life-cycle.
  • Create supporting user documentation to accompany new developments
  • Actively participates and provides technical leadership within our SME user groups.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and support for objectives/tasks of other IT organizations
  • Knowledge transfer to other team members in IT Support, and Subject Matter Experts
Qualifications, Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • 3+ years hands on configuration and in depth knowledge of IBP
  • IBP domain knowledge required :- Supply Chain Control Tower, S&OP, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimisation
  • Experience in the creation and governance of planning areas, master data type, key figures, attributes
  • CPI-DS Cloud Platform Integration maintenance and management
  • Detailed knowledge in the creation and maintenance of planning templates using the IBP Excel Add In
  • HANA and Fiori experience required
  • BI knowledge advantageous
  • Customer oriented behaviour and good communication skills
  • Ability to understand complex supply chain models and recognise important details within the planning process.
  • SAP ERP configuration knowledge in one or more streams
  • Cross Steam knowledge of MM, SCM, APO or LO desired
  • Proficient with SAP 4.6c and/or SAP 6.7
  • ABAP Debugging experience desired
  • Ability to communicate a technical message to a non-technical audience, focusing on managing customer expectations
  • Fluent in English language is required
Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Management discipline required
  • Other Education / Certifications: SAP certifications in the relevant area
Working Conditions:
  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
  • On-call availability required as necessary.
  • Professional, office environment.
  • Some travel required.
