Our client, a leading company in the consumer electronics industry, is looking for an Senior Financial Controller to join their team in Belgium.

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspectsof their operations in Belgium, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis. You will collaborate closely with various departments to provide strategic financial guidance and support decision-making processes.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and providing insights to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity in financial reporting.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and senior management, assisting in decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and recommend actions to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive business growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management and reporting.
  • Profile :
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French and Dutch is a strong asset.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
