Job content

• Design and develop custom frontend solutions to meet client needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, and other developers to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
• Build web pages that are optimized for different devices and screen sizes.
• Ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend of the application.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior frontend developers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality code.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to meet project goals and timelines.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle management.
• Good understanding of security concepts.
• Good understanding of software testing principles.
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with accessibility and web standards.
• Feeling for UX/UI design.
• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to keep up-to-date on innovative technologies by following trainings, courses and certifications.
• Fluency in Dutch or French and English.
  

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or VueJS.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, Grunt or Gulp.
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SCSS, SASS or LESS.
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, Karma, Mocha, Enzyme, RTL or Jasmine.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
• Understanding of security best practices and implementing security features such as authentication and authorization.
  

• Knowledge of backend development with Node.js, Java or .NET.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
• Knowledge of CI/CD setup such as Jenkins or Gitlab CI.
• Understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles, such as Clean Software Architecture, Data Structures, Microservices, Event-Driven, MVC, and SOA.
• Experience with CI/CD/DevOps/DevSecOps principles.
• Understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes.
• Understanding of security and compliance standards.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
