What do we expect from you?

  • You are responsible for translating business requirements into functional requirements. In doing so, you take into account both functional and non-functional issues (performance, scalability, security, usability).
  • You map out the high-level technical impact during the startup phase.
  • You perform the functional analysis for our IT systems and draw the functional design.
  • You are responsible for a qualitative transfer to and support of the developers.
  • You provide support in the delivery of small and large improvements and modifications. This goes from design, through development, to validation and testing.
  • You will participate in drawing up and managing the planning of the various analyses.
  • You participate in the preparation and updating of documentation and user manuals, if any.
  • You will work on projects. These can be very diverse, such as the implementation of Swift changes, improving our data quality or the implementation of straight through processing for one of our products. The project you will be working on in your first year falls into the latter category. In order to be able to deal with the above mentioned issues in a good way, you have a first relevant experience in a similar role.

Your assets?

Knowledge:

  • You know the principles of agile working and you succeed in applying them (e.g. defining user stories, mapping impact and dependencies, agile testing, ...).
  • You can easily work with Jira and Confluence. Knowledge of Kendis is an asset.

Skills:

  • You are a team player with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
  • You work fluently together with your own team as well as with other teams. You consult and involve others fluently in your assignment, build a network within our organisation and use this when it can be useful.
  • You have strong analytical skills to understand our E2E business processes.
  • You have a pragmatic attitude and think out-of-the-box.
  • You like to take responsibility and you have the necessary entrepreneurial spirit. This enables you to achieve your goals. Achieving results together with your colleagues gives you extra energy.
  • You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, and you manage to present your story convincingly. You can do this both in Dutch and in English.
  • You are eager to learn and to get to know the wonderful world of Trade Finance, together with our applications and our way of working.
