Background

NCIA has a Strategic Sourcing Initiative to quickly meet requirements for common goods and services as part of an IDIQ framework agreement. NCIA is purchasing Standard End-User Equipment and (LAN) Network Equipment for use at its Enterprise level across all NATO locations. Equipment consists of Dell/HP End User equipment and CISCO/Fortinet LAN Network Equipment.

To deliver these equipment upgrades NCIA is looking for IDIQ project specific resources to conduct activities in support of such projects. Project duration’s and locations would vary and be case by case dependent.

Duties And Responsibilities

Designs network topologies and architectures. Determines applicable hardware, software, and connectivity solutions. Supports implementation through configuration set-up, testing, and training of users.

Education

Masters degree in engineering and completion of a formal network certification program.

Experience

At least seven years experience in network systems. At least five years experience with TCP/IP wide area networks.

  • Associates degree - 4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree - Associates + 2 years of relevant experience / 6 years of relevant experience
  • Masters degree - Bachelors + 4 years of experience / 8 years of relevant experience
