Job Description Summary
Network Engineering team is looking for dynamic & experienced network professional to work on implementation, security and support of large multi-site, robust multi-vendor network environments.
Major Accountabilities
- Manage and implement network projects in multi-domain environments across industry leading technologies & platforms.
- Partners with design and platforms teams, ensuring implementing network designs up to their requirements for upgrading existing corporate and Datacenter networks, as well as re-architecting network segments to facilitate new requirements, technologies, and growth.
- Resolves network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone access and performance globally.
- Research and develop innovative solutions around unified network solutions.
- Supports assigned regional projects, which include responsibility for planning, time, and implementation.
- Ability & desire to automate processes and tasks to increase efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Industry leading certification (CCNP, CCIE, Arista, etc) desirable but not compulsory
- 5+ Years IT experience in the following areas:
- Networking, including LAN/WAN - Firewalls - wireless - Security and encryption technologies
- Experience with TCP/IP protocol communications.
- Broad/Hands on knowledge across Leading Network Vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, Arista & Checkpoint.
- Broad knowledge of Project Management methodology and best practices.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Network diagnostics, BGP, SNMP, VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, ACI technologies.
- Hands on experience of automation tool & technologies such as Python, Ansible is a plus.
- Strong command on Datacenter Network technologies
- Skills and knowledge on network automation/scripting desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Self-starter with demonstrated listening skills.
- Team player and equally strong individual contributor.
- Limited supervision; work may be reviewed for direction and strategy.
- May require occasional local/domestic travel within country
- Should be open to working occasional weekends/weeknights for planned work.
