Mission

The Senior Planning Manager leads the site’s production planning team for finished & semi-finished goods to ensure the best service, response, cost and inventory balance through all aspects of planning and fulfilment.

The Senior Planning Manager identifies and drives fundamental changes to develop the team and convey a customer-focused mindset while ensuring sustainable performance aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, motivate and lead the planning community in line with Firmenich core values
  • Develop a performance-driven culture by implementing Continuous Improvement/Lean principles
  • Manage variability through plans to surge material and capacity capabilities whilst optimizing asset utilization
  • Confirm orders within the agreed timeline and maintain proactive communication with Customer Care
  • Manage and control the plant planning operation with full responsibility to achieve short/medium-term financial & operating’s objectives set by business management
  • Establish and cascade a monthly supply plan based on forecast and tactical planning techniques (S&OP/ S&OE)
  • Develop, implement, the report set targets and control a set of KPIs to support achievements of planning objectives
  • Develop and implement necessary plant operating policies & procedures in close collaboration with corporate subject matter experts to assure the plant meets business requirements in any aspect.

We Value:

  • A university degree in Engineer, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Mathematics or Economics
  • 8 years experience in the Supply chain with a relevant operations planning experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a management role
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC and APO or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills with a Customer focused & data-driven mindset
  • High analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
  • APICS-CPIM or similar certification preferred
