Your mission
Our activity is growing fast. We are looking for an experienced RF Electronic Engineer to join our Product Design Team. You will be in charge of all RF electronics design and testing aspects within embedded electronics for in car connectivity projects

More specifically, your responsibilities are the following:
Understand customer electronics product specifications, or alternatively define product specifications either based on existing devices and literature or on modifications to reference designs (for instance to revise shape and packaging),
Together with the design team, be responsible to design, simulate, and test, RF mixed-signal PCB products – in line with customer specifications and known best practices
Support technical discussions with chipset makers, PCB suppliers and component sellers
Archive, justify and document the different design versions and upgrades
Participate to product DFMEA and PFMEA
Design to manufacture, including the optimization of the product cost and manufacturing feasibility (component life time and availability)
Actively collaborate with the product team to the product integration, i.e. match the RF part with the other functions of the electronic board, including antennas, packaging constraint and so on
Take part in plan definition validation including, amongst other, thermal, EMC, and noise aspects, as well as finding countermeasures to solve detected issues, compatible with compactness and performance constraints.
Participate in product validation plan – in line with customer product specification
Participate in product control plan for the electronics part, including the physical test of prototyping and the recommendation of the test set-up and test methods (in our lab and at our suppliers)

Your profile?
Master’s degree in engineering - RF electronics.
Proven experience in automotive electronics project and associated connectivity technologies
Proven experience in RF analog & mixed-signal PCB design up to several GHz (front-end, RX, TX, VCO, PLL, Power Amplifiers, Low Noise Amplifier, filters, Switches, transmission lines, PIM measurement)
Proven experience in RF PCB evaluation and troubleshooting: Thermal assessment, Signal Integrity, EMC
Strong knowledge of RF PCB design guidelines up to several GHz
Proficient with classical RF PCB design and validation tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, …)
Good knowledge about digital and analog radio systems up to several GHz
Knowledge of Wireless technologies including DSRC, 802.11 (incl p), and associated (e.g. Bluetooth, BLE, Wifi), ITS G5 etc… is an asset
Ability to use testing equipment (VNA, Spectrum analyzer, …), including EMC-EMI evaluation tools
Proven experience in coordinating technical discussion with suppliers and customer
Good helicopter view, able to think of and manage the different stages of several projects in parallel - your strength lies in simplifying complexity and rapidly identifying the critical and the optional parts.
Excellent communication skills: clear and simplified project status and motivate coworker to reach the next step on time
Fluent in English, knowledge of French or a strong willingness to learn.
