Dark Light is specialized in staffing business intelligence & data projects. We work with data-driven companies that want to grow to the next level. For one of our clients, which is located in the region of West-Flanders, we are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst.

Tasks
  • You follow up the entire process from needs analysis of the internal customer to making the solution available. You will think about what data you need for this and how to collect have an eye for translating data into actionable insights, setting up and testing the elaborated solution and training where necessary.
  • You have good knowledge of data sources
  • You monitor the impact of potential changes on our datasets as a result of process changes within the business, as well as the quality of our reported data
  • Projects are structurally tracked and prioritised in sprints with the Analytics Manager. Everyone on the team has their own projects, in line with subdomain knowledge.
  • As Supply Chain Analytics Lead, you also have a crucial function within the Data & Analytics operation, in which we also meet on a sprint basis to share best practices both among ourselves and with the cross-divisional Analytics team.
  • Together with the Analytics Manager, you will help further develop our Analytics model by following up on new developments, such as machine learning and predictive algorithms, as well as critically thinking along with us about how we can continually improve our operations for the benefit of the business.

Requirements
  • You have a Master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
  • You have already been able to build a nice experience within a data analytics function and have experience pulling projects.
  • You have a very strong analytical mindset. As a result, you have a clear picture of processes and can also easily make connections.
  • You like to work accurately and efficiently, have an eye for detail, but know how to maintain a global overview. Experience with PowerBI is a must.
  • You therefore have a strong data & IT affinity. Familiarity with SAP as an ERP is a strong plus, as this is the central ERP from which most of our data originates.
  • You have a great sense of responsibility and derive satisfaction from strengthening the business by gaining better insights faster.
  • Thanks to your critical thinking and reasoning skills, you know how to set the right priorities.
  • You are self-managing, stress-resistant and a team player.
  • You are fluent in English
